The River Lodge. When this motel was built in 1947, it was called the Suburban Lodge. Located at 1955 Theatre drive, just north of the juction of 101 and 46 west. For a long time, there was a drive-in theatre located right across the street, thus the name Theatre drive.

	The manager was nice enough to let me copy a photo that hangs in the office. This was taken in 1949. The building itself has changed very little.
