Location #G

This is Brown's Cycle shop. It is acutally located on the frontage road of southbound 101 about 100 yards west of the Joe C. Brown ranch that was documented in location #C. It was originally a Signal Oil Company service station, and Joe built it here on his property in 1950 when he realized that the new freeway would be built in that location. For years, his station was the only one on the new freeway between San Ardo and Paso Robles.
