Landis Automotive. Located at the northeast corner of Marsh St. and Carmel. The original route of 101 went down Marsh St. between S. Higuera and Santa Rosa St.. According to an employee of the repair shop, this was once a Texaco station. I still need to research this and confirm it. Also near this location is an old Foster's Old Fashioned Freeze restaurant that is still operating.
