The Texaco Station, and Pink House were located on the south end of town at the corner of El Camino Real and Wilhelmina Street. The Pink House sold dried fruits and nuts.

The Shell Star Garage owned by Claude Proud. This was also where the Greyhound bus stopped. It is located on El Camino Real at Margarita Street. The Barn Antiques is now on this property. Note the pump in front.

This is the Margarita Inn. Built in the 1920s. It had everything a traveler needed; gasoline, rooms to rent, and a cafe. The Inn was located where the Ancient Peak Tasting Room is today on El Camino Real and Maria Street. (Photo courtesy of Santa Margarita Historical Society.)

This building was originally a County garage that was used to store equipment for building the Calf Canyon Hwy (now State Hwy 58). Later it was the Old Heidelberg, a German styled restaurant and bar. This photo is the Moose Lodge. (Photo courtesy of Santa Margarita Historical Society.)
