Location #8
The Honeymoon Cafe at 999 Price St. is on the SW corner of Price and Hollister. It was originally a unique combination of a Phillips 66 station, a sporting goods store, and cafe. In 1960, it was known as K.L. Phillips & Son's.

I love this old neon goose sign. According to Effie McDermott, it was taken from the old Wild Goose cafe which was located a few blocks to the south. |

A closer view of the front of the building. |

A classic old gas station drinking fountain. Now a happy home for this plant. I wonder if it gets watered from underneath...? |
|
View of the north side of the building. These were no doubt the restrooms. |

This may have added on later, or it could have been a service bay. |
