Nipomo / Los Berros Section

This section has been divided up into three seperate sub-sections. Nipomo south, Nipomo north, and Los Berros. Except for a couple areas in the Nipomo south, and Los Berros sub-sections, the old route of 101 pretty much follows the current Thompson Rd. which would be considered the 101 alignment between 1930 and 1958 in this area. The Nipomo south sub-section covers the 1930, and 1912 routes from just north of the Santa Maria river north for about 2 1/2 miles. The Nipomo north sub-section covers the old downtown area of Nipomo centered around the intersection of Thompson Rd. and Tefft St., and includes the Dana Adobe. The Los Berros sub-section covers the area from Sheehy Rd, north along Los Berros Rd., then north on Quailwood Ln, and then up to about 2 miles north of the Los Berros Rd. / Thompson Rd. freeway overpass.
